This study by E&Y accounting and consulting firm analyzes the decision-making
process used by institutional investors to determine which non-financial
matters are important to them. They found that one third of investors' decisions
are based on the following non-financial measures:
- Execution of corporate strategy
- Quality of strategy
- Ability to innovate
- Ability to attract talented people
- Market share
- Quality of executive compensation
- Quality of major processes
- Research leadership
