Gaye van den Hombergh, President
Ms. van den Hombergh, a former member of Winning Workplaces' Board of Directors, is the former President, Midwest Region, of Vistage International, the world's leading CEO organization. Before joining Vistage in June, 2006, Ms. van den Hombergh was the President and Managing Director of The Johnsson Group, a financial consulting firm serving Fortune 500 clients such as Kraft, PepsiCo, Baxter, McDonald's, Abbott, and CNA Insurance. The Johnsson Group was a wholly owned subsidiary of Altran Technologies SA, a publicly traded global consulting firm headquartered in Paris, France. In this role she led strategic change, launched several new practice areas, and delivered record results as the firm transitioned from a privately-held founder-run firm to a publicly-traded, foreign-owned firm.
Prior to joining The Johnsson Group in 2000, Ms. van den Hombergh held executive and management positions in sales and marketing functions at several global companies, including Kraft, CIGNA, and Reed-Elsevier. In these roles Ms. van den Hombergh successfully introduced and implemented new revenue generating initiatives; led successful sales teams; drove organizational and strategic change; and along with her team, achieved award-winning business results.
Diane Stoneman, Director of Consulting and Training
Diane leads Winning Workplaces’ consulting and training practice and
has extensive experience in the fields of workforce and organizational development.
She is an experienced facilitator, marketer and consultant in human resource
strategies to increase workplace effectiveness. During her career, she has
worked as a workforce learning consultant at the Council for Adult and Experiential
Learning (CAEL), a program director at the Chicago Manufacturing Institute,
and a director of a major urban community development organization. Diane
has a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and holds
a master’s degree in social service administration from the University
of Chicago.
Mark Harbeke, Director of Content Development
Mark's role is to ensure that content on the web site is up-to-date, accurate, and engaging. He also writes and edits Winning Workplaces' monthly e-newsletter, Ideas, and provides graphic design and marketing support. His experience includes serving as editorial assistant for Meredith Corporation's Midwest Living magazine title, publications editor for Visionation, Ltd., and proofreader for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Drake University.
Nuala Novak, Administrative Manager
Nuala Novak joined Winning Workplaces in February 2007. For the past six years Nuala worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden – most recently as a development officer. She has many years of experience in customer service and project management. Nuala oversees administration and data analysis for employee opinion surveys, while providing logistical support for our annual "Top Small Workplaces" event.
Jason P. Ticus, Special Projects Coordinator
Jason serves as primary contact and coordinator for Winning Workplaces' Top Small Workplaces competition. Having studied cultural conservation and the promotion of sustainable communities at both Vassar College and the University of Queensland, Jason has worked internationally with various non-profits and independent organizations geared toward ensuring a progressive facilitation of economic, social and environmental sustainability.
