Winning Workplaces Appoints Director of Development and Manager of Content Development

CHICAGO, Apr. 3, 2006 -- Winning Workplaces announces the appointment of Jessica Ticus as Director of Development and Mark Harbeke as Manager of Content Development.

Ticus, who most recently was Director of Major Gifts at the Chicago Botanic Garden, has many years of experience as an educator and fundraiser at venerable Chicago institutions, such as the Shedd Aquarium and Children's Memorial Hospital. At Winning Workplaces, which assists small and midsize organizations to build highly productive workplaces, Ticus, 51, will oversee the nonprofit's fundraising efforts, including sponsorship programs for Winning Workplace' annual workplace recognition event.

Harbeke, who most recently was Customer and Member Services Coordinator at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), a nonprofit pharmacy association, has also served as Proofreader for NABP, Publications Editor for Visionation, Ltd., and Editorial Assistant for Meredith Corporation. At Winning Workplaces, Harbeke, 27, will manage the firm's web-based information clearinghouse and development of Winning Workplaces' monthly e-newsletter.
