Winning Workplaces: Better for People, Better for Business

Winning Workplaces Announces the 2010 Top Small Company Workplace Award Finalists
Winners Announced in Inc. Magazine in June

Evanston, IL, March 9, 2010 – Winning Workplaces, a national nonprofit dedicated to helping small and midsized businesses create engaging and productive work environments, announced today the finalist organizations for its 2010 Top Small Company Workplaces Award, which it hosts in partnership with Inc. Magazine.

The Top Small Company Workplaces recognition project highlights those small organizations that engage their employees, create great work environments and, in turn, deliver improved results. Winning Workplaces received nearly 500 completed applications, which were pared down to 40 finalists.

In March, a national panel of management and small business experts chosen by Winning Workplaces will judge the finalists based on specific metrics and qualitative assessments of their success in creating the kind of workplaces that engage employees and deliver successful results. The winners of this award will be announced in the June 2010 issue of Inc. Magazine.
